Class 4 visit to Blundells for Internation Languages Day.

Last Thursday, we were lucky enough to be invited once again to Blundell’s for International Languages Day.

Last Thursday, we were lucky enough to be invited once again to Blundell’s for International Languages Day.

We were collected from school just after registration and made the short journey into Tiverton, arriving just in time for a Spanish and French lesson in their wonderful Languages Department. After a short break and a well-deserved cookie, we headed back to the department for a German lesson, where we were joined by some of the Sixth Form students.

Lunchtime followed, which is always a highlight! In keeping with International Languages Day, the children enjoyed a fantastic selection of foods from across Europe.

In the afternoon, we walked over to the boarding houses and gave our lunchtime to settle in the common room before taking a stroll over to the astro turf for a games' session in the sunshine.

We are so lucky to have these wonderful opportunities to broaden the children’s experiences, and a huge thank you to the staff and students at Blundell’s for making us feel so welcome once again.

Finally, a big well done to all of the children in Class 4, whose behaviour was impeccable throughout the day. You made us very proud!
