Last week, Year 5 completed their Bikeability training and what a fantastic job they've done! Our instructor, Peter, has been impressed by how sensible the Year 5s have been and just how quickly they've picked up some of the skills taught.

The children started on the playground, doing vital safety checks and basic training. Once they'd passed their level 1 training, small groups took to the streets for some road-based training. The children have been learning about the Highway Code and practising how to signal, turn and emergency stop.

Well done Year 5, I look forward to seeing you apply those new skills whilst safely commuting to school on your bikes over the coming weeks.
