Class 3 Visit to Exeter

On Wednesday 19th November, children in Class 3 visited Exeter to support our learning about Romans. We visited the RAMM museum, where we explored all the different galleries and had the opportunity to handle some genuine Roman artefacts. After enjoying lunch in the Guildhall Shopping Centre, we then completed the City Wall Guided Walk around Exeter, tracing the route of the wall built by the Romans when Exeter was first established. Throughout the visit, the children were curious, polite and responsible. We are really proud of all of them and how well they represented the school, and themselves, throughout the visit. We were not the only ones to notice the children's excellent behaviour - a member of staff at the shopping centre came to give the children a little gift as she had noticed their impeccable behaviour over lunch time. Well done, Class 3. We must also give a special mention to our parent helpers: Sarah B, Emma, Charlotte, Carol and Sarah H. Without parental support, these visits would not be able to go ahead - thank you all very much for giving up your day to join us.
