KS1 Polar Explorers Day

KS1 had an amazing time celebrating Polar Explorers Day last week! The children absolutely loved the experience and threw themselves into the day with great enthusiasm.

They arrived dressed as polar explorers, having carefully thought about the items they would need to survive in Antarctica – from warm clothing to equipment for spotting and observing the amazing animals that live there. It was wonderful to see how much thought and creativity went into their outfits.

One of the highlights of the day was spending time in the observation tent, where the children enjoyed watching penguins and carefully sketching what they could see. They also had great fun creating beautiful wax resist penguin pictures, using candles and watercolour paints to produce some fantastic artwork.

It was a fun, engaging day full of curiosity, creativity and learning – well done KS1 Polar Explorers!
