Class 4 visit to Farm Wise at Westpoint
On Tuesday, Class 4 attended the FarmWise event at Westpoint.
Throughout the day, we were given different areas to explore such as Beef, Dairy, Environmental, Poultry and many more.
In each area, there were workshops and activities to complete. The children were able to meet and stroke different animals, make their own butter, watch how robots are being used on farms and so much more.
The children thoroughly enjoyed learning lots of new things but I think their favourite part was probably all of the freebies! We managed to come away with free pens, smoothies, yo-yos and even pizza!
Class 4 behaved beautifully once again and it was lovely to celebrate our rural location especially during this Harvest period.
