Dear Parent/Carer,

The first of our practise walks will be taking place on Wednesday 28th January.

The practise walk will take place on the Two Moors Walk between Black Dog and Witheridge and the children will be transported to Black Dog to walk back to school. The children will be accompanied by members of school staff.

Children will need:

• Walking boots/ Comfortable shoes for walking
• A warm, waterproof coat
• Warm clothes – lots of layers (weather forecast is for cold weather)

• Snacks

• A re-sealable drinks bottle

Please ensure your child’s bag is not too heavy as they will be carrying it for the duration of the walk.

The walk will take approximately 3 hours and we will aim to be back at school by 12:30pm. Children can arrive in their walking gear at normal school time with their uniform (socks included!) in a separate bag.
