On Thursday, we commemorated 80 years since VE and VJ Day with great enthusiasm and thoughtfulness.

We began the day with a moving service at the church, led by Vicar Adrian, reflecting on the significance of the occasion. It was heartwarming to think that some of our pupils' ancestors may have sat in the same pews 80 years ago, celebrating peace. Following a two-minute silence and a rousing singsong on the playground, we rounded off the celebrations with a vibrant street party and a delicious picnic courtesy of Bobbie.
