Our School Council and Eco-Rangers enjoyed an exciting visit to Exeter Energy Recovery Facility, discovering how our waste can be transformed into electricity. The trip inspired the children to think about recycling, reducing waste and making greener choices for our school and planet.

Harvest has been in full swing at the farm this week as we prepared for our Harvest Festival celebrations.

Class 4 enjoyed a fascinating trip to Bristol, exploring the city’s links to the transatlantic slave trade. Through history, discussion and collaboration with children from High Bickington, they deepened their understanding of the past and its lessons for the future.

On Monday 28th September, a group of our talented runners proudly represented our school at the Trust Cross Country Competition, competing against children from our other ‘TEAM’ schools.

Last Thursday, we were lucky enough to be invited once again to Blundell’s for International Languages Day.

What a fantastic week back at Outdoor Learning! We had lots to explore, starting with a very special discovery — an old, empty wasp nest found on the school site by our gardener, Ryan.
