🥾 Exmoor Challenge Training Begins for Year 6

Year 6 completed their first Exmoor Challenge training walk

On Wednesday, Y6 embarked on their first Exmoor Challenge training walk. We parked the bus in Black Dog before the children were tasked with navigating back to school. As always, the selection process is tricky with 12 children competing for 8 spaces.

To make the final teams, the children need to show that they're capable of walking the distance (16 miles) at a steady pace, demonstrate a range of map skills and consistently show our school values to support their teammates throughout.

Wednesday was a fantastic opportunity for the children to begin showing us these skills and hopefully over the coming weeks, these will become consistently more evident throughout.
