Farm visit

10th February 2026

The wet and windy weather didn't dampen moods on the farm this week.  It was smiles all round as we bathed the baby ducks and celebrated with fantastic news of over 120 baby lambs due to be born in April.

We visited a wild flower plot that had been planted to feed the birds during winter.

The children were also amazed to find out that a rare goshawk had been heard on the farm, with the RSPB even planning to pay the farm a visit to investigate further.

We left very muddy after moving the pregnant ewes from the barn to the field to feed their growing bellies and even came across some frogspawn along the way.

Another spectacular visit to the farm 🙂
