FSU News - Spring Term

At the end of this half-term, the children in our FSU were delighted to welcome the return of the wonderful weather, which linked perfectly with our Spring topic.

They have been exploring the changes that are occurring in the world around us at this time of year, observing new growth and signs of life. In particular, the children really enjoyed deepening their understanding of flowers, learning about processes such as pollination and seed dispersal through hands-on activities and discussions.

The Reception children were especially fascinated to discover the different ways seeds travel to find a place to grow, whether carried by the wind through the sky, floating across water, or transported on animals and along the ground.

The children showed great curiosity and delight as they explored these ideas through practical experiences.
