🌊 Adventure Bude – Update 4 🌊

Yesterday afternoon, the children swapped over activities once again for more mountain boarding and caving fun. The cave system runs right underneath the centre, so the children enjoyed a range of exciting challenges in some very tight spaces! Meanwhile, the mountain boarders soon found their feet and were flying downhill confidently, mastering the all-important J-turn to stop.

In the evening, we enjoyed a brilliant talent contest, which was won by a child from one of our TEAM schools thanks to some incredibly impressive piano skills.

We decided to have a slightly earlier night yesterday as tiredness was definitely beginning to creep in. Thankfully, it seems to have paid off this morning, as everyone appears fresher, more energetic and ready to go, just in time for the sun to finally make its first proper appearance of the week!

After breakfast, the children prepared for a full day of wet activities. Half of the group headed off body boarding, whilst the other half took part in a team-trail activity with a very soggy twist!

It’s our last full day today and I have been so impressed with how our children have conducted themselves throughout the week. They have been incredibly polite, resilient and supportive of one another, whilst also making lasting friendships and memories for life.

Our final update will come tomorrow lunchtime as we prepare to head home!
