It has been a wonderfully busy and uplifting time across the school, with so many opportunities for our children to live out our vision to Encourage One Another and Build Each Other Up.
We have thoroughly enjoyed receiving the updates from our Year 5 residential visit to London this week. The children have represented the school brilliantly, supporting one another as they explored new places and experiences together. A huge thank you goes to Mr Manning for accompanying the children and giving them this memorable opportunity – your time, care and encouragement make a real difference.
This week has also been DT Week, with a focus on Building Futures and it has been fantastic to see creativity and teamwork in action across all year groups.
-
Key Stage 2 pupils particularly enjoyed cooking activities, developing practical life skills while working collaboratively and supporting each other.
-
Key Stage 1 pupils designed and built free-standing structures inspired by new play equipment, showing great perseverance and problem-solving.
-
In Reception, our youngest learners impressed us all by building their own futuristic robots, sharing ideas and encouraging their friends along the way.
Today we also celebrated Number Day, embracing the fun of maths while raising money for a great cause. Thank you so much to everyone who has already donated – your generosity is very much appreciated. If you haven't had a chance to donate yet, you can do so via our Just Giving Page.
