Encourage One Another And Build Each Other Up

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have had a wonderfully positive and exciting time at school recently, with lots to celebrate!

The children thoroughly enjoyed coming to school dressed in RED for Comic Relief/Red Nose Day. It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm and creativity on display, all in support of a great cause. Together, we raised an amazing £52, in addition to funds collected from the sale of Red Noses. Thank you so much to all parents and carers for your generosity, support, and continued encouragement—it truly makes a difference.

We were also delighted to see the return of our trampolining sessions for Year 1 and Year R. The children were incredibly excited to take part and showed great enthusiasm throughout. A special thank you goes to Mr Manning and Mrs Roberts for accompanying and supporting the children during these sessions. Mr Manning commented on the children’s fantastic behaviour, which made us all very proud.

These moments reflect our school vision to “encourage one another and build each other up.” It has been wonderful to see this lived out through kindness, teamwork, and positive attitudes both in and out of the classroom.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.

With best wishes,

Miss Ratcliffe

School Council News - Charity of the Year: Cancer Research UK

Our school council has chosen the charity, Cancer Research UK, to be our named school charity of the year. Over the course of the next few months, we'll be sending out details about upcoming fundraising events and opportunities. The school council explained the reason for their decision to choose Cancer Research UK:

"We all know someone who has been affected by cancer, and we know every penny raised for Cancer UK counts to help those battling cancer."

We have set up a school giving page, should you wish to support this great charity and help the children with their fundraising this year.
