Encourage One Another And Build Each Other Up

A Fantastic End to the Half Term!

It has been a lovely final week of school as we wrap up a fantastic first half-term of the academic year. The children have made a brilliant start to the new school year, and we are so proud of all their hard work and enthusiasm for learning.

Class Trips & Highlights

  • Class 4: Enjoyed an exciting and educational trip to Exeter Racecourse for the Racing to School day.

  • Class 1 & Class 2: Had a wonderful time exploring and learning outdoors on their visit to Northam Burrows.

FSU Learning Showcase

A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who came in this morning to view the children's work in the FSU (Foundation Stage Unit). The children absolutely loved showing off everything they have been learning throughout this term!

PTFA News & A Fresh New Name?

Thank you to the PTFA for inviting me to this year's AGM.

We are delighted to announce our leadership team for the year ahead:

  • Chair: Phoenix

  • Treasurer: A huge thank you to Dean for stepping into this role!

  • Secretary: A huge thank you to Kristina for taking on this role!

  • School Representative: Mrs Seymour will continue in her role.

We are looking for a refresh!

We are looking to give our group identity a fresh new start and would love your input!

Please keep an eye out for our Google Survey, which will be sent home soon. In addition to sharing your ideas, thoughts, and availability for volunteering, we would love for you to vote on or suggest a new name for our PTFA.

Wishing You a Wonderful Half Term Break

It has been a wonderful half-term of learning across the whole school. We hope you all have a restful and enjoyable half-term break with family and friends.

We look forward to welcoming the children back to school on Monday 2nd November!

With best wishes,

Miss Ratcliffe

Dear Parents and Carers,

In the week after half-term, children in Class 3 will be completing a DT project learning about pneumatics.

Each child will need an empty 2litre or 1.5litre plastic bottle (the kind you get cola or lemonade in) to complete their project. Please could children bring their bottles to school after half-term. Should you happen to have a couple of spare empty bottles which you are able to donate, please pop these in as well, so we can make sure everyone is able to complete their projects.

Thank you!

Mrs Nott.
