‘Encourage One Another and Build Each Other Up'

1 Thessalonians 5: 11

Dear Parents and Carers,

Happy New Year!

Welcome back to school for the new half-term. We hope you all had a restful break and that the children are ready for an exciting and productive few weeks ahead.

Thank you for your understanding and support regarding our delayed start on Tuesday due to the icy conditions. As always, the safety of our children, families, and staff is our highest priority, and we appreciate your cooperation when we need to take precautionary measures.

You will notice that this newsletter follows a new template. We hope this makes it easier for you to find key dates, important information, and updates from the school at a glance. We would welcome any feedback on this new format.

There are several exciting events coming up this half-term, so please keep an eye out for further details in future communications.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome two new members of staff to the Witheridge C of E team. Mrs Roberts has joined us in Class 4 and Courtney, who will be working in the Foundation Stage Unit. It is great to have you on board.

Finally, we would like to share some important news with you, our wonderful school cook Bobbie will be leaving Witheridge Academy on Friday 16th January after an incredible 25 years of dedicated service. Bobbie has been a much-loved member of our school community and will be very much missed by all the children and staff. We thank her sincerely for everything she has given to the school and wish her all the very best for the future.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.

Kind regards,

Miss Ratcliffe
